‘Fueled by love’: Nonku Williams embraces rural life in North West

Television personality and entrepreneur Nonkululeko “Nonku” Williams fully embraced her rural life while in North West this week.

Even though Nonku is not married to her partner, Lungani Rammaledi, she happily rolled up her sleeves and took care of duties usually done by a makoti (bride).

NONKU WILLIAMS IN HER “MAKOTI ERA”?

The Real Housewives of Durban star wore a “makoti attire” which included a pinafore from YouTuber Ongezwa Jiyane, a doek (headwrap), while “stirring the pots” on the stove.

Her caption suggests that her hard work throughout the day was indeed “fueled by love.”

“When love arrives everything’s effortless. Stirring pots, tending cops and rocking traditional attires with a smile all fuelled by a love that fuels me” wrote Nonku.

NONKU WILLIAMS: FROM CITY GIRL TO FARM GIRL

The reality TV star spent this week at her partner’s home, who made the experience even more enjoyable.

Nonku admitted that even though she is a city girl, she loved every moment spent in the rural area.

In one video, Nonku was driving a tractor in the fields, and in other photos, the back of the van was the perfect spot for a quick photo shoot.

This time, she wore jeans, boots, a vest, and sunglasses, while Lungani also posed alongside her in casual navy overalls.

Nonku summed up her experience as “the best of both worlds”.

“City girl trying to farm. Who knew I’d trade heels for gumboots. The best of both worlds,” she wrote.

NONKU WILLIAMS FINDS LOVE AGAIN

The KwaZulu-Natal native wasn’t always lucky in love. She once opened up about her abusive marriage to the father of her two sons. Her relationship with Dumisani “Rough Diamond” Ndlazi also ended in tears.

Nonku, who shares a daughter with the late gospel artist Sifiso Ncwane, wrote this personal message for Lungani on his birthday:

“Happy Birthday to the man who infuses my life with joy and purpose. You were the unexpected answer to prayers I didn’t know to pray, a divine surprise that has become my greatest blessing,” began Nonku.

“Your presence in my life is a gift, one that I cherish every day, and I’m still in awe of the beauty in our union, a testament to God’s perfect plan,” she added.

“Your love is a balm to my soul, a reminder that I’m seen, heard, and loved like [as] God loves me. You make every day brighter, even in the messy moments, and I’m so grateful for your unwavering presence in my life,” she continued.
