Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed their starting line-up for this afternoon’s Betway Premiership clash against TS Galaxy at the FNB Stadium, with a few notable changes from their last outing.

Kaizer Chiefs starting line up: Petersen, Cross, Monyane, Msimango, McCarthy, Ndlovu, Maboe, Shabalala, Lilepo, Da Silva, Duba.

Substitutes: Bvuma, Frosler, Miguel, Mthethwa, Cele, Chislett, Mayo, Vilakazi, Velebayi.

TS Galaxy starting line up: To be confirmed

KAIZER CHIEFS LOOK TO BUILD ON MOMENTUM

Amakhosi come into this one in a good space. That 3-1 comeback win over Orbit College on Monday gave them a real boost, especially the way they turned the game around in the second half.

Players like Wandile Duba and Siphesihle Ndlovu will take confidence from that performance, and you can already feel that this team is starting to build some rhythm at the right time of the season.

SECOND MEETING SINCE DECEMBER

This will be the second meeting between the two sides this season. The first one back in December ended goalless at Mbombela Stadium, but it was far from a boring game.

Kaizer Chiefs thought they had won it that day when Flavio Silva found the net, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside. It was one of those moments that still leaves you asking questions.

Late on, TS Galaxy were reduced to 10 men after Nhlanhla Mgaga saw red, but they still managed to hold on for the point just before the AFCON break.

CAN KAIZER CHIEFS KEEP THE RUN GOING?

Fast forward to now, and Kaizer Chiefs are sitting third on the table with 39 points from 21 matches. They’ve won three games in a row and look like a team growing in confidence.

TS Galaxy, on the other hand, have struggled for consistency this season. They are down in 12th place with 25 points from 23 games, and they’ll need a big performance if they want to stop Chiefs today.
