MaCele dragged for insulting MaKhumalo

Last night’s (1 April) episode of Uthando Nes’thembu left many people on social media dragging Busisiwe MaCele over her insulting comments to her sister-wife Thobile MaKhumalo, regarding her struggles to conceive.

The viewers were reeling from anger and disappointment since this topic is sensitive for MaKhumalo, given her challenges with infertility.

MACELE DEEPLY INSULTED MAKHUMALO

In her therapy sessions with clinical psychologist Nontobeko Mjadu, MaKhumalo discussed the unpleasant treatment she endured over the years from the Mseleku family.

Then she dropped a bombshell about MaCele, the first wife. She talked about an unfortunate incident that happened while they were still filming Ezomshado NoMaCele NoThobile, the show they hosted and provided relationship advice to their guests.

“I still remember we were driving in the same car around Umgababa, driving back to Port Shepstone after shooting Ezomshado, I remember MaCele saying… I think it happened that she was agitated during our conversation,” said MaKhumalo.

“Annoyed by whatever she was going through to a point where she voiced out that: Oh, he (Musa) bragged to me (MaCele) that he’s marrying you because you’ll give him many kids. How are things now that you can’t give him those kids?“

The South African credits X user, @_Thembalihle_ for the video below, in which MaKhumalo shares her painful story.

MaKhumalo continued, “[She] laughed that he bragged about me giving him children, which I later couldn’t.”

During her solo diary session, MaKhumalo stated that while MaCele’s words did hurt her, she didn’t take them personally.

“When she said those words, I don’t think she realised they were hurtful when I heard them, but also I understand that it wasn’t about me at that time,” she began.

She further disclosed that MaCele went as far as publicly insulting her in full view of everyone.

“She would insult me in town and in front of people, hurling any kind of insults you may think of, she said.

MACELE PREVIOUSLY THREW SHADE TOWARDS MAKHUMALO

Last night’s episode also showed an old scene where MaCele spoke unkindly about MaKhumalo. She complained about her to her Cele family during her traditional wedding.

Seemingly, the other wives were not supposed to be present at a particular part of the traditional wedding.

However, MaKhumalo showed up, which prompted the Cele family to basically chase her away.

MaCele said the following about MaKhumalo’s presence: “Thobile was there just because she’s nosy. You guys (her family) did well by chasing her away. She’s too forward, and you will never know why… Goodness, this nosy girl.”
