Edition 59 of iDiski Times hits Shoprite stores today and you can go and grab another bumper edition free at stores in Gauteng.

In this week’s edition, Velile Mnyandu brings us another interview with a SAFA Presidential candidate, this time speaking to Solly Mohlabeng, who is considered in the race against Danny Jordaan and Ria Ledwaba, who Velile interviewed last week.

Velile also brings us news about the long-awaited appointment of the SAFA Technical Director, while he also has a story about ABC Motsepe League champions, MM Platinum (La Masia), who have warned that their newly-acquired GladAfrica Championship status is not for sale.

Lorenz Köhler spoke to Romain Folz, the 31-year-old who is heading to South Africa to replace Dan Malesela as Marumo Gallants Head Coach, and finds out who the young Frenchman is.

Lorenz also has a story about Itumeleng Khune, as the goalkeeper who turned 35 this week, prepares to reclaim his number one spot at Kaizer Chiefs.

Rob Delport caught up with Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker to discuss their excellent season, and how they are preparing for life after Ashley Du Preez and Zitha Kwinika left the club to join Kaizer Chiefs.

With Banyana Banyana about to take part in next month’s Africa Women’s Cup of Nations, Lethabo Kganyago spoke to goalkeeper Kaylin Swart about the national team’s ambitions.

Meanwhile, David Kappel looks back at the 20 months that Pitso Mosimane was in charge at Al Ahly, while we also have the apology Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos made to South Africa at the SAFA Extraordinary Congress.

These are also the subjects on the minds of our friends from iDiskiTV, as Benedict Vilakazi and Nkululeko Nkewu share their opinions about Hugo Broos’s unfortunate comments last week, while Junior Khanye would like to see Pitso Mosimane return to a previous job.

We have another edition of The Drawing Board with Michael Loftman, where Michael shares insight into the characteristics of an elite coach.

And we have another contributor joining us this week, as Stellenbosch’s analyst Ryan Hunt breaks down some fascinating statistics from this past season in the DStv Premiership.

We also you bring you the iDiski Times Team of the ABC Motsepe Playoffs, after last week’s tournament in Potchefstroom.

There’s also a whole host of transfer rumours, with a Bundesliga player linked to a PSL team, a Bafana Bafana player linked to the Bundesliga, and much more!

Don’t forget the FREE digital version of this edition will be available on this website on Friday, but if you can’t wait, get down to Shoprite (in Gauteng only currently) where you can pick up a hard copy exclusively.
