Celebrating this milestone, Abongwe took to her social media platforms to share moments before and after the graduation ceremony. The Izingane Zes’thembu star was accompanied by her parents, leading to her feeling grateful for the opportunity after her father’s near-death experience. Abongwe looked dashing in her maroon suit with silver embroidery, paired with a white shirt and a tie to complete the look.

To express her gratitude on her Instagram page, Abongwe said: “Thank you God! What a blessing it is to walk across the stage and not just walk across it but look to my left and wave at both my parents. What a blessing it is to bring uncontrollable tears of joy to them.’This is for you mom’, and then suddenly everything you’ve ever prayed for Ma has come to fruition. Your love and support is unconditional and what a blessing it is to fulfil your prayer point. More than anything I am filled with gratitude, you’ve been crying since the beginning of the month and we literally at the end and you still crying? you have no idea how happy I am to do this for you. Welcome to graduation Ma,” she penned.

The Uthando Nes’thembu star also thanked God for granting them a second chance as a family, recalling the time when Musa was admitted in hospital after he had stroke.

“Mthombeni, the Lord has been good to us more than anything. Two years ago I cried terribly cause I almost lost a huge part of me, I went back to school and had to act like nothing was wrong cause unfortunately life had to go on. I texted you almost every day just to make sure I was still safe and you were still kicking.

“Two years later I still cry, but I cry with a smile on my face and relief in my heart because even after you had said ‘uzograduater ngikhona noma ngingekho (you will graduate whether I’m there or not)’ the Lord had mercy upon me and made sure you lived to see this day. Thank you for believing in me at all times, for making sure I go to school, for crying the whole month too, for being a present father and most importantly thank you for loving me,” wrote Abongwe.

Instagram users weighed in:

“My leader Abongwe Nandi Lizwilikamama Mseleku,” commented Musa.

One user said: “Congratulations are in order.”

Another one said: “Hello, Busisiwe Mseleku, first wife of Musa Mseleku looks prrrr. Congratulations.”
