Nomfundo Moh jumps on April Fool’s Day prank

South African vocalist and songwriter Nomfundo Moh had fans briefly panicking after pulling an April Fool’s prank on them.

The star, whose upcoming album has been highly anticipated, took to social media earlier today with what appeared to be an official statement announcing a delay in the release of Farm Julia.

“Hi fam, it is with sad news to announce that my new album Farm Julia will not be releasing anymore as scheduled this Friday. The reasons for this are above me, and there’s nothing I can do about it. I’m deeply heartbroken but I hope this can be resolved soon. Thank you for supporting me this far,” the statement read.

However, in a follow-up slide, Nomfundo quickly revealed that it was all a prank, reassuring fans that the project is still on track.

“I really wanted yall to feast but ke kube ngaphezu kwamandla😔💔… Apologies MohFam,” she captioned the post, while continuing the countdown to the album’s release.

Fans and industry peers flooded the comment section with laughing emojis, with many admitting she had them fooled before accepting her apology.
