The Premier Soccer League have announced the winner of the DStv Premiership Goal of the Season 2021/22.
The PSL announced all of their 2021/22 awards during a ceremony two weeks ago, with Peter Shalulile walking away with the main awards.
The Mamelodi Sundowns striker was named PSL Footballer of the Season as well as Player’s Player of the Season after securing himself the Golden Boot with 23 goals.
Meanwhile, his teammate Andile Jali also walked away with three accolades, namely the MTN8 Last Man Standing, the Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament and the DStv Midfielder of the Season.
However, there was one award which wasn’t announced at the ceremony, namely the Goal of the Season gong.
Today, the PSL confirmed that Nkosingiphile Ngcobo’s goal was the winner.
Ngcobo scored his cracker against Sekhukhune United in December and beat out fellow nominees Keagan Dolly (x2), Deon Hotto, Reeve Frosler and Thabo Matlaba in the fan-voted category.
