Doja Cat’s comments trolling her father, Dumisani Dlamini, have gone viral on social media.

The US artist is visiting South Africa for the first time, where she will perform at the Global Citizen Move Afrika concert in Pretoria on Friday, 20 March.

Doja – real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini – has often spoken about not meeting her famous South African actor father.

DOJA CAT TROLLS DAD DUMISANI DLAMNI AGAIN

In a social media post, captioned “The deadbeat chronicles”, Doja Cat shared how she had contacted her father, Dumisani Dlamini, about meeting during her trip to South Africa.

The US star claimed that her dad had declined the invitation.

She said: “He [Dumisani] said that he couldnt make it to my show because I don’t message him enough and call him on WhatsApp”.

She cheekily added, “So I sent him gay porn, and I said if you go to this link, I think you can get a ticket”

According to Doja, Dumisani was “very busy” with a production. She went on to mock his reaction to her X-rated message.

It’s not the first time Doja Cat has trolled her South African actor and musician dad.

In May 2024, Doja went on a social media rant about the Yizo Yizo and Sarafina actor.

In it, she called him out for “abandoning” his family and being a “b*tch.”

The quirky singer posted a pic of her face and behind with the caption: “Dad, lemme know when/if you need me to re-up your makeup cabinet cuz you a b**ch.”

The 30-year-old also liked comments that read: “That’s so disrespectful” and “Dad diss track coming?”

Clapping back at mostly South African critics, she responded: “Go give the deadbeat a kiss on the lips for me.” She added: “[Dumisani] gave me a lazy eye and dipped.”

Under a post on Dumisani’s Instagram account, Doja Cat commented: “F**k you.”

Weeks before, Doja fired shots at Dumisani when she posted on her X bio: “My dad’s a deadbeat, but I did well.”

She later deleted the comments, posting: “JK [Just Kidding] Love you, I was mad.”

RAISED BY SINGLE MOTHER

Doja Cat was born in 1995 to Dumisani Dlamini and his then-partner, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer. After fathering a son, Doja’s brother Raman Dalithando, Dumisani left the US to return home.

In an interview with IRL podcaster Angie Martinez last year, Doja gave her fans a glimpse of her private life.

The mixed-race artist revealed she was one of five children, born to her mother,  who starred in her recent music video, Gorgeous.

She said: “I had a tough childhood….Growing up with a single mother was a hard thing.

“I could never….She is incredible, the strongest mother. She taught me a lot of things and made me in some ways stronger.

Without mentioning her dad, Doja Cat said her mother had “no help” raising her kids.

Doja claimed that her mother was her biggest fan.

“She is so supportive and so proud. And she tells me every day”, she added.
