Vusimuzi Matlala’s wife, Tsakane opens case against Tebogo Thobejane amid attempted murder saga

Tsakane Matlala has escalated her ongoing feud with Tebogo Thobejane after opening a legal case against the actress and influencer.

The case was reportedly filed in Pretoria, with Matlala accusing Thobejane of cyberbullying, defamation, intimidation and online harassment.

She also alleged that Thobejane had been threatening and following her.

The latest move comes as Matlala herself remains entangled in a serious legal battle.

She was previously arrested alongside her husband, alleged cartel figure Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala, in connection with the attempted murder of Thobejane.

The incident dates back to 2022, when Thobejane survived a shooting in Sandton, Gauteng.

While Matlala was later released on R20,000 bail, her husband remains in custody as the case unfolds.

Tensions between the two women intensified after Matlala’s recent court appearance at the South Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.

Following the appearance, Thobejane took to social media, where she spoke candidly about the trauma she has endured since the alleged assassination attempt.

She revealed that she has been living with post-traumatic stress and did not hold back in her criticism of the couple, referring to Matlala as a “hitman” and accusing Tsakane of wanting her child to grow up without a mother.

Thobejane also questioned the presence of bodyguards during the couple’s court appearance, suggesting their presence raised concerns.
