Oskido celebrates Black Coffee as he turns 50

South African music legend Black Coffee is celebrating a major milestone as he turns 50, and fellow industry icon Oskido led the tributes with a heartfelt birthday message.

Taking to social media, Oskido celebrated the Grammy-winning DJ’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming one of the most respected figures on the global music stage.

“Happy 50th, @realblackcoffee 🎉From humble beginnings to Grammy wins 🏆, to global stages 🌍, and all the unforgettable moments in between, today we celebrate your iconic journey. 👑Welcome to the fifth floor. Keep inspiring the world, Nathi, my Bhuda,” Oskido wrote.

Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, responded warmly in the comment section, thanking the veteran producer for paving the way for many artists in the industry.

“Ahhh Bhuda 🙏🏿 Thank you so much for showing us that it is possible,” he replied.

Fans also flooded the post with birthday wishes, celebrating the star’s remarkable career and global impact.
