BOBBY VAN JAARSVELD SHARES HIS SON’S SCARY EXPERIENCE

Paarl-born singer Bobby van Jaarsveld shared a heartbreaking post about how his son’s vision was affected by an “innoncent laser”. He expressed that he did not think he would share this but he wanted to create awareness.

“I didn’t think I was going to share this, but I feel I have to warn people,” wrote the singer in an Instagram post.

“We never want to experience this again. My son, Leben, lost 90% of his vision because of an ‘innocent’ laser that was shone into his eye,” he continued.

The singer explained that they were told he was going to lose his eye. However, a miracle occured when a doctor was able to save his son’s eye.

“We prayed and begged and trusted a long time ago because we were told he was going to lose his eye, and I can’t describe the feeling that a parent experiences when they hear that…but after a few opinions, thank God we found the right doctor, and he was able to save his eye after a successful operation,” he explained.

“The doctor himself said it was a miracle because few people’s eyes can be saved after something like that. So we praise God for that!  Parents… break those lasers,” he added.

The singer shared heartbreaking photos of his son in pain. Take a look…
