Moving Tactics is offering a Stock Control Internship opportunity to candidates wanting to establish a career within the Digital Signage space. This internship programmme was created in partnership with Yes4Youth to get the candidate ready for the professional market. The candidate will do this by aiding the Johannesburg Stock Controller with their duties and responsibilities to successfully manage all Moving Tactics’ stock and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and controls.
The candidate is expected to complete all duties on time to achieve Moving Tactics’ objectives, as well as keep communication open between themselves and the stock controller; ensuring successful coordination.
Key performance areas of the programme: aiding in stock control:
- Ensuring you accurately complete monthly stock control of your region
- Compiling accurate monthly and weekly reports when required
- Being aware of Moving Tactics FOC stock, and client allocation
- Ensuring stocks are packed and ready on location so that installations can run smoothly the following day
- Ensuring Stock Control Process and Procedures are completed and correct
- Ensuring stock is secure and safe by locking storerooms
- Keeping storerooms tidy and ensuring accurate stock levels are constantly available
- Attending all stock related meetings
- Communicating effectively with all team members and departments

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED TO APPLY:
Before applying, please ensure that you meet ALL of the following minimum entry criteria – failure to satisfy all the requirements will result in your application being disqualified:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Must have proficiency in MS Office
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 34 years old
- Must be defined under the BBBEE definition (i.e. be part of a designated group)
- Must be unemployed
- Must NOT have previously participated in another Yes4Youth programmme
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must have a strong voice
- Must be confident and efficient
- Must have integrity and be committed to work
- Must be able to work in a high pressured environment
- Must be able to work well in a team and independently
- Must be proactive and accountable
- Must be detail orientated
- Must have excellent time-management skills
