Orlando Pirates will announce the departure of one of its players, while the Soweto giants will continue towards the completion of the new season.
After fighting to break into the start line-up of the Buccaneers in the two seasons, Zambian winger Austin Muwowo will be loaned for the 2021/22 season.
A loan arrangement was negotiated with Swallows for the 24-year-old to allow him to resurrect his career, as verified by a source near the club.
Muwowo is a former winner of the 2019 Zambia Player of the Season.
“Austin Muwowo leaves Pirates Orlando on a loan. The club is working on the final loan agreement and the agreement will be concluded. The kid goes to Swallows. He will join the club on a seasonal loan agreement. According to Soccer Laduma, the club will probably confirm the transaction by the end of this week,” the source confirmed.
Orlando Pirates will take action against rival Kaizer Chiefs at the Orlando Stadium in the Carling Black Label Cup on Sunday 1st August at 5 p.m.
