Ciza celebrates AFRIMA breakthrough win with heartfelt message to fans

Rising music star Ciza has marked a major milestone in his career after taking home an award at the African Music Magazine Awards (AFRIMA), earning recognition as Breakout Artist of the Year.

The singer shared his excitement on social media shortly after the win, posting a heartfelt message that reflected both gratitude and disbelief at the achievement.

“This one is special. For the first time I have no words to express how I feel,” Ciza wrote, adding that while he struggled to articulate the moment, his emotions spoke for themselves. “My spirit is happy and overwhelmed.”

Ciza went on to thank the supporters who have stood by him since the beginning of his journey, acknowledging their role in his growth.

“Thank you to every single person who has been supporting me from day 1 till now. I am literally nothing without you guys,” he shared.

Looking ahead, the artist hinted at bigger things to come, describing his career path as only just beginning.

“This is about to be an incredible and crazy journey and I can’t wait to take you guys with me,” he said, before signing off with an aspirational note: “The sky is not the limit, it’s just a view!”

He also expressed appreciation to the awards platform itself, concluding his post with, “Thank you @afrima.official for Breakout Artist of the Year!”
