DJ Zinhle expresses pain over Seemah calling Murdah Bongz a “dog”

Seemah calls DJ Zinhle’s husband Murdah Bongz, a dog

DJ Zinhle has spoken out after Seemah, co-host of the Spreading Humours podcast, publicly insulted her husband, Bongani “Mörda” Mohosana, calling him a “dog” while reacting to ongoing cheating allegations.

The comment came after controversial blogger Musa Khawula claimed that Mörda was having an affair with a 22-year-old woman named Kimberly, who allegedly works at a Johannesburg club.

The rumour has been trending for days, prompting heated debates on social media about the couple’s relationship.

During the podcast episode, Seemah discussed the allegations, saying she had once thought Mörda was a respectable man.

She added, “You look at him and you think Zinhle won, kanti yinja (he’s a dog).”

Zinhle, who had initially avoided addressing the drama, finally shared her feelings on TikTok, revealing how personally hurt she was by Seemah’s comment.

“I’ve actually been trying to ignore all the stuff that’s been happening on social media, the disrespect that comes with it,” she said. “But let me tell you, nothing hit me harder than someone calling my husband inja.”

The Indlovu hitmaker explained that what cut the deepest was that the comment came from someone she knows personally.

“I think the thing that punished me the most about that statement was because I know the lady. I talk to her quite often on DM sometimes. I’ve bought from her business, so she could have reached out to me if she was concerned, but she went straight to TikTok to call my husband a dog,” Zinhle said.

Many fans initially believed Zinhle had already responded to the cheating rumours through a previous video, where she spoke about choosing peace and not wanting to engage in public drama.

However, she clarified that the clip was from October, long before the allegations began.

“I don’t want to fight. I don’t want conflict. I don’t want to explain myself. I just want an easy life,” she said in that earlier post.

Before her recent statement, Zinhle and Mörda had subtly addressed the rumours by sharing an AI-generated video of Musa Khawula singing along to her song Sorry, which many interpreted as their playful way of responding to the accusations.

The post was captioned “Apology accepted.”

Following the incident, Zinhle took a moment to thank her supporters, saying she regretted allowing negativity to affect her initial reaction.

“I want to apologise to you. I don’t take your support and love for granted, and I want to say thank you. You’re the only people that deserve my attention,” she said.
