Euphonik says he’ll never forgive Ntsiki Mazwai, vows their feud is far from over

DJ Euphonik opens up about legal war with Ntsiki Mazwai

The tension between DJ Euphonik and poet Ntsiki Mazwai is far from cooling down.

The popular DJ, whose real name is Themba Nkosi, recently made headlines after opening up about his long-standing feud with Mazwai during an interview on Gagasi FM with Selbeyonce, Sphectacula, and DJ Naves.

Their clash stems from the defamation case that Euphonik and DJ Fresh filed against Mazwai, following comments she made on social media.

In August, after the court ruled in favour of the DJs, Mazwai publicly appealed for donations to help cover her legal expenses, but it appears the matter is still deeply personal for Euphonik.

When asked by host Selbeyonce whether he could ever forgive Sphectacula for introducing him to Ntsiki, Euphonik gave a blunt response that stunned listeners.

“The honest truth is I would not,” he said. “You know, I make reference to the false rape allegations because we can laugh about it now,” he added before making a derogatory remark.

He went on to explain that despite several attempts to get an apology from Mazwai, she has allegedly refused.

“We’ve asked her many times to apologise. She has lost three or four cases with us. But she just does not want to,” he stated.

“I tried getting other artists in SA to try and get an apology. Because all I asked was for her to apologise on the same platforms where she made those false statements and leave it on for 30 days. Then we can forget about everything.”

Euphonik also made a bold claim about Mazwai’s finances, alleging that she’s now unable to operate normally in South Africa’s financial system.

When Selbeyonce reacted with disbelief, asking if Mazwai truly had no bank account, Euphonik replied confidently, “By the time I am done with her, she won’t have one.”
