With grace and empathy, the Miss Universe SA page penned a touching post to Miss SA runner-up Luyanda Zuma, showing her love as she became the first runner-up at the finale of the pageant. The Miss SA pageant took place at the SunBet Arena in Pretoria on Saturday 25 October. Qhawekazi Mazaleni was crowned Miss SA 2025.

“Becoming a bolder and more self assured version of yourself. You are such a powerhouse, this moment may bring you sadness and even tears. But that’s temporary, trust me the best is yet to come for you. The universe will wait for you,” read the post.

“You fought for your dream and gained more than you could ever imagine, more transformation of the self, more confidence, a South Africa that resonates with you, wisdom, so much. We love you, you will soon be arriving to your timely destination. 💙🇿🇦 SO PROUD OF YOU HG,” read the post.
