Proud parents — DJ and media personality Thabo “Tbo Touch” Molefe and actress Thuli Thabethe — recently celebrated their son Ruri’s first day at his internship in Australia.

Tbo Touch marked the milestone by sharing a heartfelt video congratulating his son on the start of his new journey.

“Congratulations Ruri on your 1st day of internship at the Supreme Court of NSW and MartinPlace Chambers. Molefe’s are beyond proud right now.

“I give you Proverbs 3 1-7 tie it around your neck everyday my Son,” said Tbo Touch.

“Long day in Martin Place Sydney Australia arranging court documents, stamping affidavits and summons from the Chamber to the Supreme Court. Get us a nice building for Molefe Group Inc,” said Tbo Touch.

According to The Citizen, although the couple’s marriage ended in 2010 after six years, they have maintained a positive and cooperative relationship focused on their son’s well-being.

In an interview with TshisaLive, Thebethe said their son’s best interests always come first.

“I always put the best interests of the child first. The most worthwhile thing about co-parenting is our ability to make bold decisions for our son’s future despite how we feel. Our son’s best interests always come first,” she said.
