Horror as 17 year-old mother throws 2 year-old baby into Tugwi flowing river after having a misunderstanding with her younger brother.
People who stays in the Nyevedzani community of Chivi are left in shock after a mother who is 17 years thrown her 2 year baby into the flowing river. She first threatened to take her own life before she throws her baby in the river.
Esther Mujere as the grandmother, reported the incident to the police but it appeared as a light matter. The granddaughter has not been around ever since the incident, that’s when the police believed the mother killed her own baby.
The accused was arrested in connection with her own daughter’s death. She is expected to appear in Magistrate’s Court on the 16th of April, meanwhile the baby’s bodybis yet to be recovered.
