Thousands of maidens have gathered at eMashobeni Royal Palace in KwaZulu-Natal for uMkhosi woMhlanga.
The annual Reed Dance brings together young women in traditional regalia for song, dance and the presentation of reeds as part of one of the Zulu nationβs most significant cultural traditions.
The eMashobeni leg concludes today, Sunday, 13 September.
