  • Tsekeleke was released after his niece Neo withdrew assault charges at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.
  • The entertainer expressed relief at being free.
  • His family confirmed reconciliation, with Neo saying they had decided to “bury the hatchet”.

South African reality television star and entertainer Tsekeleke, real name Mixon Tholo, is a free man after being released from his holding cell.

The 40-year-old was arrested last week on assault charges laid by his niece, Neo Tholo.

Tholo appeared at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court, where the charges were later withdrawn by Neo.

“I am so happy to be out. I am going to continue with my gigs and TikTok videos,” Tsekeleke 012 told Daily Sun.

He also urged promoters to start booking him again, saying he is now a free man.

Neo added that they had agreed to bury the hatchet.

“As a family we agreed that we shouldn’t be fighting. We decided to make peace and bury the hatchet. I think he has learned one or two lessons about physically assaulting women.”
