Naledi Aphiwe bags 3 nominations at Metro FM Music Awards 2026

Music star Naledi Aphiwe is soaking in a major career moment after securing three nominations at the Metro FM Music Awards 2026.

The singer took to social media to share her excitement and gratitude following the announcement.

“I’m so excited and grateful to share that I’ve been nominated 🥹✨ This means more to me than you know. Thank you for always supporting, streaming, showing up and believing in me. If you can, please take a moment to vote for me every single vote counts and I truly appreciate it. Let’s do this together,” she wrote.

Naledi’s hit single Waiting For You earned her a nomination for Best African Pop Song, while Come Duze secured a nod in the Best RnB Song category. She also picked up another nomination in the Best African Pop category for Buya Ekhaya, marking a strong showing across genres.

The trio of nominations highlights her growing presence in the local music scene, with fans praising her versatility and consistent output.
