“Now I start to believe that the team of Gininda has got the right people.” Retired SAPS commander General Vincent Leshabane made the explosive remark during the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial while disputing claims about which officers were present during the arrests of the accused.

Leshabane told the court that Warrant Officer Makubu was not part of the arrest operation and only joined the team later, insisting he could not lie about who was actually there on the day.
