Gigi Lamayne meets Gayton McKenzie

Rapper Gigi Lamayne has joined a growing number of local artists showing appreciation for Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, after what she described as an uplifting and meaningful meeting.

The Feelin’ U hitmaker took to Instagram to share a video of her interaction with the minister, tagging @gaytonmck, @proudly.sa, and @artsculturesa.

The short clip captured a cheerful exchange that many fans interpreted as a sign of strengthening ties between the hip-hop community and the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture.

“What a fun minister… what an impactful minister. A showcase. A voice. Words cannot fathom,” Gigi captioned the post.

Her followers responded positively, with many encouraging deeper collaborations between the government and artists on issues like touring, event safety, and creative funding.
