Mozambican National Wanted After Skipping Court in Standerton Drug-Lab Case
The Hawks are appealing to the public for information that could help locate Cardoso Missuque, 36, a Mozambican national who failed to appear in the Standerton Regional Court on 17 July 2026 after being released on bail.
Missuque is wanted in connection with an alleged multi-million-rand underground mandrax laboratory uncovered inside shipping containers at Rooikoppen Farm in Standerton in April 2025.
A warrant for his arrest has been issued.
He faces charges of manufacturing and dealing in illicit drugs, possession of precursor chemicals and industrial manufacturing machinery, as well as absconding from court.
Police describe Missuque as being of medium build, with a dark complexion and short black hair. His last known address is in Standerton.
