Kaizer Chiefs captain Petersen makes third goalkeeping blunder!

Kaizer Chiefs captain Brandon Petersen made yet another goalkeeping blunder to gift Richards Bay FC an easy goal.

Amakhosi visited the Natal Rich Boyz at the Princess Magogo Stadiun on Wednesday night, and their game plan was spoiled very early.

A back pass to Petersen saw him fail to take control of it, and Nqaba Xulu put pressure on him to slot it home and give Richards Bay the lead.

This is a THIRD goalkeeping error made by Petersen so far this season, and it doesn’t reflect a player of his caliber, especially given how well he performed for Chiefs last season.

Petersen‘s first blunder came against Golden Arrows when Khulekani Shezi caught him off his line with a cross-cum-shot from the right.

He then conceded what looked like an easy ball to save as he came off his line in the 1-1 draw Mamelodi Sundowns, and Casssius Mailula was well-positioned to equalise with his first touch.

And he has now cost Chiefs against Richards Bay FC, and his blunders come at a time when the club has just signed Renaldo Leaner.
