Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, revealed how she would feel if her children had a step mother, following the split.

RACHEL KOLISI ON KIDS HAVING A STEP MOM

Author, director and public speaker Rachel Kolisi answered a burning question by Anele Mdoda during her interview on 947 Radio. Anele asked Rachel “are you ready for another woman to be a step mother to your four children?”

Rachel responded that parenting is her priority and everything else is none of her business.

“You know, I… I can only parent the best that I can and that is my priority, everything else, none of my business,” she said.

Rachel is going through a divorce from Springboks captain Siya Kolisi. The former couple were married for eight years before announcing their split in October 2024. Rachel and Siya have two beautiful children together – Nicholas (11) and Keziah (9). Siya and Rachel also adopted his two siblings Liyema and Liphelo when they were younger.

In the interview, Rachel also noted that shortly after welcoming her first child with Siya, and three months later adopting his siblings Liyema and Liphelo, she eventually left work. She explained that leaving work was “horrific” as she had to start asking for money for “pads, tampons, shampoo”.

SIYA KOLISI’S ROMANCE WITH RACHEL JOHN

Rachel has expressed that moving on to her, doesn’t mean it needs to involve another person. However, Siya has seemingly already moved on with 25-year-old influencer Rachel John.

The Springboks captain and Rachel (John) sparked romance rumours in late 2025, when fans identified her as the woman sitting next to him at the ATP Tour Finals in Turin. Siya was also spotted at Rachel’s birthday celebration in Jeffrey’s Bay in late December.

Earlier this year, Siya and Rachel went on “baecation” to Victoria Falls. This was the same place Siya and estranged wife Rachel Kolisi went on their honeymoon in 2016. The pair did not share photos of or with each other in Victoria Falls. However, a fan spotted them together, boarding a cruise on the Zambezi River, confirming their romance. Rachel recently left back to her “home” in Amsterdam. In February, the pair were both in Los Angeles and New York together.
