Nomcebo ends music hiatus with stage performance

Award-winning vocalist Nomcebo Zikode has officially made her return to the stage after months of silence and a legal battle over unpaid royalty.

The Jerusalema hitmaker took to social media to share photos of her electrifying performance at the Dundee July event, her first live appearance of the year.

In a heartfelt caption, she wrote: “BACK on the road 🛣️ doing what I love the most 🎤💚 here at home 🇿🇦 Ngibonge #DundeeJuly for the warm welcome!!!”

Her return is significant, as Nomcebo has been embroiled in a lengthy legal dispute with Open Mic Productions, the label behind the global hit Jerusalema.

She previously revealed that she received no compensation for her vocals on the chart-topping track, despite its worldwide success.

Yet, despite the setbacks, Nomcebo stunned the crowd with a powerful performance that left many emotional.

Fans and fellow artists welcomed her comeback with open arms.

DJ Condo commented, “It was so good to see you @nomcebo_zikode”
