🚨 𝗪𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗛 | 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗘𝗗𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗞𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗕𝗔
New footage obtained by MDNtv shows law enforcement agencies searching for escaped Rooigrond inmate Edward Khomotso Madiba in Fafung, near Jericho, North West, on Tuesday, 8 September.
The footage captures the scale of the operation, while a voice note from the search reveals a call for additional backup as officers combed the area for Madiba.
The search involved SAPS, Correctional Services, the Hartbeespoort K9 Unit and other personnel after Madiba was reportedly spotted in the area.
Madiba was subsequently apprehended in Brits at approximately 10pm on Wednesday.
