Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has reacted to his side missing out on Kobamelo Kodisang, revealing he is happy with his squad but wants to strengthen in two positions.
Earlier this year Chiefs were understood to be seriously interested in Kodisang, whose initial contract was coming to an end in June.
But after Braga activated a clause to extend the South African junior international’s deal, Chiefs would’ve had to pay a transfer fee and both club’s couldn’t agree onto the players’ valuation.
Zwane was now asked whether he was disappointed about missing out on Kodisang, but doesn’t seem to dwell too much on the situation.
“No, really not disappointed. I think we have we have assembled a very, very, very good squad,” he told journalists.

“We’ve got a balance, we still have [Kamohelo] Mahlatsi, we still have KG [Kgaogelo Sekgota], we have many players that can play as a winger if you want to change the formation, to play with wingers.
“If you want to play with wing-backs, we still have players that can play, give us that power, left flanks and the right flank.
“So I think we have a balanced team, except for the two positions that we need to pick up quickly.”
