Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has reacted to parts of the Amakhosi faithful booing their team after the 3-2 loss to Golden Arrows at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
Amakhosi took the lead twice in the DStv Premiership encounter, but ended up with zero points after a second-half brace by Knox Mutizwa.
The result leaves Chiefs outside the top four, resulting in supporters showing their disappointment at end of the game, booing the coach with some chanting “Arthur must go”.
“Look, it’s within their rights,” he said after the match.
“I mean they are disappointed they believe we should have won this game.
“I also believe we should have wrapped it up first half. We let ourselves down and I understand their frustration. We had a number of chances.
“Today is one game for me we should have scored at least six from the first half and you look at the second half, we ended up conceding three goals unnecessarily. But it is one of those things where you have a bad day at the office.”
Chiefs are back in action next week Saturday when they face rivals Orlando Pirates, who sit three points ahead of them on the log, in the Soweto Derby.
