Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane says he’s excited to face off against Casric FC in the Nedbank Cup who have three Amakhosi academy graduates in their squad.

Chiefs host the promotion-chasing Motsepe Foundation Championship side today in the last-16 of the Nedbank Cup with several familiar faces on the other side.

Khotso Malope, 28, was promoted to the first-team at Chiefs back in 2015 but has since represented the likes of Thanda Royal Zulu, Swallows, Richards Bay, TS Sporting and now Casric – where he’s joined by loanees Sibusiso Milazi and Keletso Sifama this season.

“They’ve got two of our youngsters in Keletso Sifama and Sibusiso Milazi, who have been doing very well, and another of our youngsters who were part of our development playing in the middle of the pitch.

“So, we have got three players that have done well as well when they were given the opportunity by them. We are looking forward to the game and are going to have to give our best.

“Sifama and Milazi, I have always been watching them and they have been doing very well.”

The Soweto giants will be aiming to advance to the quarter-finals of the domestic cup competition when they face off against the second-tier side at FNB Stadium (18h00).
