King Misuzulu kaZwelithini is worried about the rising crime and killings in KwaZulu-Natal.
The king was speaking at the 40th anniversary of the Reed Dance in Nongoma, KZN, on Saturday.
“I’m worried about the killings that are taking place in our province. I call on you, the Zulu nation, to desist from being the perpetrators of crime and killings. In fact, this is a disgrace in the whole of Africa that such a respected nation is involved in killings,” said King Misuzulu.
He also called for African nations to come together and work with the Zulu people. He said even if people from other tribes or other races want to join the Zulu nation, they should be welcomed.
Although it rained and was cold during the event, the young women attending still enjoyed the King’s speech. When he told them how much he loved them, they cheered and screamed. Even when he laughed, they excitedly showed their admiration.
King Misuzulu encouraged the young women to focus on their education and look after themselves until they finished school.
