Zingah hints at comeback for ‘Choppin It With Bhudah T’ as he breaks silence on hiatus

Zingah has finally addressed the long-standing pause of his podcast Choppin It With Bhudah T, but his response has only deepened the mystery around its absence.

In a clip now making the rounds online, the rapper-turned-host was asked directly about the future of the platform, which has become a respected space for conversations within South African hip-hop and Amapiano.

Rather than giving a clear answer, Zingah chose his words carefully, hinting at unresolved issues behind the scenes.

“I can’t answer that as honestly as I will when the chop comes back. But we need to get more into ownership, let me put it that way. I need to drive the ship as the captain, you hear me?” he said.

His remarks have sparked speculation, particularly his reference to “when the chop comes back,” which many interpret as confirmation that the podcast could return.

At the same time, his emphasis on ownership suggests that control of the platform may be at the centre of the delay.

Since its launch under the Lawd Of The Visuals banner, Choppin It With Bhudah T built a strong following for its unfiltered, in-depth discussions with key figures in the industry, including Mashbeatz, Stogie T, Blxckie and Touchline.

The show became known for pulling back the curtain on the realities of the music scene, from creative journeys to industry tensions.

Fans have been waiting for clarity since Zingah first announced a break from the podcast, with earlier promises of a return fueling anticipation.

Now, his latest comments have reignited that conversation, leaving audiences reading between the lines and hoping the next chapter is closer than it seems.

For now, Zingah is holding back the full story, making it clear that the real explanation will only come when the podcast officially makes its return.
