Zee Nxumalo begs money for music video

Amapiano star Zee Nxumalo has once again set tongues wagging on social media after making an unexpected request from her followers.

The Ngisakuthanda hitmaker took to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, 18 August 2025, asking fans to contribute towards her next music video.

“I need 250k. That song needs a music video,” she posted.

The request immediately sparked a frenzy online, with many fans left stunned that the rising star, who will soon debut on eTV’s hit drama House of Zwide, turned to her supporters for such a huge amount.

Reactions poured in, ranging from playful offers to skeptical questions.

One user teased, “Remind me tomorrow, banks are closed. I was about to make my contribution, Dali.”

Another said, “Send me your banking details, I can loan you the money with 10% interest.”

Others questioned the figure, with one comment reading, “Why so much money, Zee?”
