Zakes Bantwini and Skye Wanda’s joint album dropping this March
Award-winning musician and producer Zakes Bantwini has announced the release of a new collaborative project with singer Skye Wanda, revealing that their album Echoes of Botanical Gardens will arrive later this month.
Bantwini shared the news on social media, confirming that the project is set to be released on 27 March 2026.
In his announcement, the Grammy-winning artist reflected on the creative journey behind the album, describing it as a deeply personal body of work crafted with care and dedication.
“The countdown begins,” he wrote. “27 March 2026, Skye Wanda and I share a body of work we’ve poured our hearts, time, and spirit into.”
According to Bantwini, the project has been quietly building momentum behind the scenes as the two artists worked on bringing their vision to life.
“The energy behind this album has been growing quietly, and now the echoes are starting to travel,” he added.
The upcoming album, titled Echoes of Botanical Gardens, marks a creative collaboration between the two musicians, both known for their distinctive sounds and contributions to South Africa’s music scene.
