THABO RAMETSI: ‘OUR MOTHER, OUR SISTER’

The talented actor Thabo Rametsi took to his Instagram account on Thursday, 9 March to thank the actress and businesswoman Terry Pheto for supporting him.

Rametsi began his post by saying that Pheto is an incredible human, who’s also kind, intelligent, loyal, and supportive.

“Thank you for seeing me when no one else did. I remember during class act I was one of the youngest actors and I had no experience. I was easily the worst actor on the show.”

He added that the legendary actress helped many actors in the industry over the years.

“You ‘Our Terry Pheto’. I saw you at the Oscars before I even knew that was possible for people like us. I saw you trail-blaze and make the world seem smaller. You looked like us. Like our sister, like our mother, our friend … like us. And you were there in the places they said we couldn’t go. From community theater to the Oscars. Thank you for showing us what was possible,” he wrote.

Rametsi is one of the few actors who are praising the Tsotsi actress, who’s implicated in a multi-million rand corruption scandal involving the National Lotteries Commission (NLC).
