‘You ended up a stepmother’ Mihlali Ndamase faces backlash after bragging about not having kids

Mihlali Ndamase has always had a love and hate relationship with Tweeps as sometimes she says things that start controversial discussions. Today is no different for the vlogger/makeup artist after a Tweet she shared was met with mixed reactions from Tweeps. Mihlali Ndamase took to Twitter to share that life was hard and went on to brag that at least she does not have kids.

The backlash she faced from her fans was instant as people attacked her in her comment section because of the tweet. While few people with and without children understood that the South African economy is hard and so having a child would not be ideal for others. Other Tweeps however took the tweet to mean that Mihlali was looking down upon people with children or the prospect of being a parent.

Other Tweeps have been insulting Mihlali on Twitter saying that it was better to be a parent than to be a homewrecker. Even Leeroy Sidambe caught strays after other Twitter users said that he chose someone who does not love kids when he has kids of his own. Some Twitter users showed worry about how Mihlali would handle being a stepmother to her boyfriend’s children.

Last year Mihlali Ndamase shared that she was going to her doctor to have her IUD removed and said that whatever happens after that would be God’s will. Her fans were overjoyed as they took it as news that Mihlali was planning on being a mother and others even asked to be the father of her kids. Earlier this year again when rumours that Leeroy Sidambe started that he was dating Mihlali fans thought it was because she had fallen pregnant a rumour that was labelled as false.

Recently one of Mary Jane Sidambe’s friends attacked Mihlali after Leeroy held a housewarming party for his house. She said that Mihlali was not supposed to be there and accused her of playing house with another woman’s children in her house. However, this showed that she had a great relationship with her boyfriend’s children. Several users have told Mihlali not to fold or be apologetic about her Tweet when people respond.
