You can now order clothing on Pick n Pay asap! Here’s how

Pick n Pay has expanded its asap! app beyond groceries. Customers across South Africa can now order clothing directly through the platform.

The move marks another step in the retailer’s push to turn asap! into a “super app,” combining groceries, fashion, Smart Shopper rewards and other services in one place.

How to shop for clothing on Pick n Pay asap!

Shoppers can browse clothing within the asap! app, switching easily between grocery and fashion categories.

Orders for groceries and clothing must be placed separately. Grocery deliveries remain available within 60 minutes, while clothing orders are delivered nationwide within three to five working days.

Delivery costs R60, with free delivery on orders over R600.

All clothing orders are fulfilled from a dedicated Johannesburg dark store. Pick n Pay says this helps improve stock availability, especially for popular items that often sell out in physical stores.

“There is a strong demand for affordable, quality clothing, and the launch of Clothing on the app allows us to reach customers who previously may not have had easy access to our clothing offer in stores,” said Hazel Pillay, executive for Pick n Pay Clothing.

A familiar app, new fashion options

The retailer says the clothing section mirrors the grocery shopping experience on the app.

Customers can browse by category, access detailed size charts by gender and product type, and view curated outfit imagery. The aim, according to Pick n Pay, is to make online fashion shopping simpler and more intuitive.

Pillay said an important focus was improving the digital fashion journey without complicating the app.

“Customers don’t have to relearn how to shop or use the app; it will feel familiar, and their profile, Smart Shopper details and payment information remain the same,” she added.

With the addition of clothing, asap! now offers shoppers a broader range of essentials and everyday wear through a single digital platform.
