US – Kanye West and Bianca Censori are experiencing marriage problems. Married since December 2022, they have reportedly been arguing because Kanye is demanding too much from her. Bianca feels stressed by their busy lifestyle and wants to spend more time in Los Angeles, which Kanye reportedly doesn’t support. They are working on their relationship. While some speculated that they might divorce, they were recently seen together in Tokyo, indicating that they are still together – for now.
Haiti – At least 115 people were killed when the Gran Grif gang attacked the town of Pont-Sondé in Haiti on 3 October, marking one of the worst mass killings in the country’s recent history. Many victims were shot, and survivors, including babies and elderly people, fled to the city of Saint-Marc. The gang had warned about the attack beforehand. Over 6,200 people have been displaced, and police are still searching for bodies while the gang expands into nearby areas.
US – Hurricane Milton struck Siesta Key, Florida, killing at least 16 people, with the death toll potentially rising. The storm caused widespread destruction, leaving over two million homes and businesses without power. Thousands required rescue from severe flooding. Officials warn that more flooding is possible and are urging people to avoid affected areas. Milton brought tornadoes, floods, and massive waves before weakening as it moved into the Atlantic Ocean.
US – Rapper and singer Lizzo, who was once vegan, shared her new diet on Instagram, explaining that eating meat has helped her lose weight and feel better. For breakfast, she has lemon water, egg whites, cauliflower hash browns, and fruit. Her lunch includes okra water, a chicken wrap, and peach tea. For dinner, she eats grilled chicken with vegetables. Lizzo noted that consuming meat during her time in Japan gave her more energy and mental clarity.
