Why DJ Sumbody’s family performed a ritual at crime scene

Amapiano producer DJ Sumbody’s family was spotted performing a ritual where he died which left many South africa confused.

We’ll if you still don’t understand why, the reason why they did so is because his family was collecting his spirit so that it can rest peacefully.

One benefit is that his spirit will not haunt the area by causing accidents.

Popular amapiano producer Dj Sumbody was confirmed dead alongside another person who was in the driver’s seat very early on Sunday morning. One other person sustained injuries during the shooting incident and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The producer Oupa John Sefoka popularly called DJ Sumbody who was set to host an event called the All White Veuve Picnic at Menlyn Maine on Sunday but was unfortunate as he fell a victim of the incident.

SAPS are currently looking for the suspects and have urged the public for assistance with the investigation.

Provincial Commissioner of Police in Gauteng released a statement saying:”A complaint was received by the Police department about a shooting incident on the corner of Woodmead Drive and Woodland Drive in Johannesburg at half past midnight.”

“Upon arrival at the scene, two people were found inside a VW Golf with gunshot wounds by the police. Both victims, a driver and a passenger were confirmed dead on the scene.” It was reported that a third victim, who was driving a BMW X5 was taken to the nearest medical center after sustaining gunshot wounds”. The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage”.

The spokeperson of the family Mmanake Mokitimi confirmed the death of Dj Sumbody but refused to give out any information surrounding his death.

There have been several tributes for him on social media, after news of his untimely death.
