A fan was delighted when Robot Boii agreed to be her matric farewell date.

In March, the mother of 17-year-old fan Lehlogonolo contacted the media personality and musician via Instagram direct messages to inform him that her daughter was being bullied due to acne.

“I am the mother of a 17-year-old matriculating student. She is being bullied for not having a matric dance date and having acne. She is your biggest fan. “I was hoping that you would consider being her date to her matriculation dance,” she wrote.

Robot Boii shared images from the event and how he made her day special on his Instagram page.

The caption of the post read, “Shout out to my team, and especially the mom who reached out.”

It was a day filled with joy. Nkele Mashaba, Lehlogonolo’s mother, tells TshisaLIVE that she kept it a secret until October 1.

“She loved him for a very long time, and she has mentioned him numerous times. Whatever it is that pertains to Robot Boii, everyone in the house knows they must pay attention. She has followed his life from his private life to his music career, that’s how much she loves him, so I decided to make it possible for her to meet her inspiration.

Nkele stated that she was a supportive mother and wished to encourage other parents to help their children feel comfortable opening up to them.

“I’ve advised her that there will always be those who attempt to bring you down. At some point, we should teach our children to be courageous even when it is difficult and to communicate with their loved ones.

Additionally, we should establish rapport with our children, be transparent with them, and encourage them to speak up.
