Most Mzansi celebrities studied acting in college or went straight from high school to entertainment. However, some intelligent personalities have joined the entertainment industry and traded their academic skills to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Makhadzi and Nomcebo Zikode went into academia with an entirely different profession before being lured onto the stage. Here is a sneak peek into Makhadzi and Nomcebo Zikode’s academic qualifications to distinguish who is more educated.

Who is more educated Makhadzi and Nomcebo Zikode

Makhadzi was born Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona until fame, and career curved a new name for herself. She was born and raised in Ha-Mashamba Limpopo. Her parents separated when she was still young, and a single mother raised her. Makhadzi’s mother struggled to make ends meet and would do odd jobs to put food on the table. The Matorokisi hitmaker watched her mother struggling to provide for their basic needs, and she promised herself to work hard to have a better life in the future.

Makhadzi complicated her Grade 12 at Mukula Integrated School, and she passed with good grades. After grade 12, the energetic musician obtained her qualification in Public Relations, and she is currently studying Drama. She had not disclosed the institution she is attending, but Makhadzi revealed that she is studying for a Degree in Drama. Sis is a hard-working young lady who stops at nothing to be successful. She is working hard both career-wise and academically.

On the other hand, Nomcebo Zikode is an educated intellectual with a Degree to show for it.
Nomcebo Zikode was born in Hammarsdale, KwaZulu-Natal. She has rags to riches story, but she paved the way for herself to be famous today. The musician matriculated at Ukusa High School and passed with flying colours. After passing her matric, she registered for tertiary education at Havatech College, obtaining a Degree in Information Technology.

Comparison of Makhadzi and Nomcebo awards and nominations

Both stars are outstanding musicians who have a huge fan base. We look at the inspiring songstress awards and nominations.

In 2017 Makhadzi won an award for Best Tshivenda hit at the LMAC awards. In 2018 she had four nominations for the TSHIMA awards, and unfortunately, she didn’t win. 2021 was a good year for Makhadzi, and she stepped out of the year with two awards and a nomination. Currently, she is dominating the year as she already has three awards, and the year has not ended.

In contrast, Nomcebo won an award at the 1st KZNEA awards in 2020, and she has also been nominated several times, but unfortunately, she didn’t win.
