WHERE TO WATCH THE EMMYS RED CARPET

The 2024 Emmy Awards took place on Sunday 15 September in Los Angeles, which fell in the early hours of Monday 16 September in South African time. South African viewers can watch E! Live From The Red Carpet: The 2024 Emmy Awards will air on E! (DStv channel 124, and DStv Access) on Monday, 16 September at 5.00pm (CAT). 

E! Live From The Red Carpet: The 2024 Emmy Awards was hosted by Lavern Cox  alongside  comedian Heather McMahan and E! News’ Keltie Knight. The two-hour experience will feature interviews with this year’s top nominees. And… the Glambot is back to capture Hollywood’s finest fashion moments in slow motion at the stars arrive.

E! Live From The Red Carpet: The 2024 Emmy Awards is produced by Den of Thieves with Jesse Ignjatovic, Evan Prager and Barb Bialkowski.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE EMMYS 2024

  • Schitt’s Creek stars Eugene Levy and Dan Levy turned hosts. This made them the first father-son duo to lead the ceremony.
  • Shogun set a single season record for most wins with a total of 18.
  • Hacks’ won best comedy series.
  • Baby Reindeer and The Bear won four awards.
  • Early winners included Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Jeremy Allen White and Liza Colón-Zayas, who won awards for their work in the comedy series The Bear.
  • Hiroyuki Sanada made history at the 2024 Emmys as the first Japanese actor to ever win in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category. The actor bagged the ward for his performance in Shogun.
