What’s a horse racing event without the glamorous fashion to match?

This year’s theme is “Symphony of Style”, which Cape Racing pegs as the epitome of “a beautifully rich and imaginative experience.”

“[‘Symphony of Style’ is] where horse racing, fashion, music and movement harmonise like instruments in a magnificent orchestra,” per the event outline. “This dramatic spectacle fuses the artistic elegance of a symphony with the opulent whimsy and theatricality of an elegant, modern circus.”

In short, it’s where sophistication meets elevated couture. As such, it’s a perfect opportunity for you to serve up an opulent outfit worthy of maestros and fashion mavens alike. As a bonus, you can also enter the Best Dressed competition and see if you come out on top!

Tickets for the 2026 Cape Town Met are available to purchase from Computicket.
