Wedding bells might ring soon for Mama Joy and Papa Joy.
Mama Joy, South Africa’s most famous and diehard sports fan whose real name is Joy Chauke, told Scrolla.Africa that her French boyfriend, Papa Joy, will visit her family in September.
Mama Joy is in France for the Olympics and spending time with her love, nicknamed Papa Joy, whom she met last year in Paris during the Rugby World Cup.
She revealed that he paid for her flight to Paris.
“In September, Papa Joy will come to meet my family. He has already told them he is coming. He will talk with them about how we will move forward and build a life together. This visit will also show everyone that Papa Joy is real and not fake,” she said.
Mama Joy is thrilled to be in France after visiting Papa Joy’s mother, whom she already calls her “mother-in-law”.
Her mother-in-law gave Mama Joy a gold ring and watch to show she accepts her as part of the family.
She also got shoes and other gifts.
The Royal AM number one fan said she would take off the ring that Papa Joy’s mother gave her when he buys her a wedding ring.
She often posts about their time together, including rides in a convertible car around the city and going with Papa Joy to work, enjoying first-class rides on the train.
Papa Joy has introduced her to his colleagues and neighbours.
Mama Joy also shared some posts from her followers talking about lobola payments Papa Joy might have to make.
