Award-winning rapper Kid X celebrates a milestone of academic achievement as he moves one step closer to new grounds.

The rapper recently took to Instagram, announcing that he is now officially a qualified audio engineer.

“We made it!” he enthusiastically wrote.

The post shows him fully clothed in his graduation attire, looking as content as ever.

In the lengthy caption, the rapper, whose real name is Bonginkosi Mahlangu, expressed his appreciation towards the Revolution Media Academy for allowing him the opportunity to pursue his academic desires.

“I’m eternally grateful to Revolution Media Academy for giving me the chance to study through the bursary programme we crafted and extended to other students. That opportunity truly changed my life.

He continued:

“A huge thank you to my A-team for helping me put this together. Thank you for believing in my little dream. God bless all your endeavors; let it not end with me. A big thank you to my family as well for all the love, support, and encouragement along the way. I couldn’t have done it without you! This achievement is ours.”

Leaving Cash Time Life

In 2016, the rapper shocked onlookers when he announced his decision to depart the renowned record label Cash Time Life to focus on his personal growth.

“The main and important reason was that I felt like I needed to grow. I felt like at Cash time, because of the way the label is structured, I’d pretty much done anything, or everything that I could possibly do,” he told Slikouronlife during an interview.
