WATCH: #SowetoShutDown residents march against service delivery

On Tuesday, scores of Soweto residents march to City of Johannesburg Mayor’s Dr Mpho Phalatse to hand over a memorandum of demands.

Whilst speaking to the multitude Operation Dudula leader, Nhlanhla Lux said they were  marching to free Soweto from being captured.

” This is not a facebook moment, this is not a whatsapp story moment. This is a moment where we free Soweto from being capture of the city.” Said Nhlanhla Lux.

Nhlanhla Lux has called on local government to meet the community halfway with innovative solutions to the electricity crisis.
