On set, she is a lady of many friends, with Sne, Asanda and Lerato being the closest. No doubt, they all wished her a happy birthday, but none was near when she celebrated her birthday. She likely didn’t want them around because she had other ideas. Undoubtedly, Nox has grown to be one of the finest stars in DipeCity alongside Mgedeza ‘Mduduzi Mabaso’.

Usually, when celebs celebrate their birthdays or at least for family members, they go big and expensive. A few days ago, Kelly Khumalo’s mother celebrated her birthday, and her daughters surprised her with an extensive and costly party. They hired decor, camera teams and catering to make sure it was special. This is at least what fans had been expecting of Nox as well. Unfortunately, Nox, the Nox we know, has her character and does what she feels like doing. Uniquely, Nozuko celebrated her birthday in style.

At first, many people thought that Nozuko celebrated her birthday on the 10th of October, but it was not. On that day, it was her young sister’s birthday which many have since confused with hers. Nokuzo’s was coming two days later, as she clarified, but it was all joy. On her birthday, her workmates Nompumelelo Vilikazi and others made her a good lunch and enjoyed music and good dances. It seemed that was not enough for Nozuko as she wanted something more.

In the evening, after work, Nozuko decided to go out alone with no family members or friends. Indeed, Nozuko is no longer in her twenties as she turned thirty and did what she wanted. It seemed that she wanted to have some time alone as she reflected on her goals. Nozuko realised that she had been a girl all along, but things have since changed. Nozuko vowed to shine in the dark like stars at night and to sing all day like birds of the sky. In her solo dinner, Nox realised that she had grown to be a woman and many fans loved what she did. They sent her birthday wishes from across Mzansi, and so was her wonderful day.
