Warren Masemola showss of new look

Award-winning South African actor Warren Masemola set social media abuzz after unveiling a striking new look that quickly became a trending topic, with users divided between admiration and curiosity.

The Scandal! star, best known for his role as Lentswe Mokethi, rang in the new year by sharing a photo of himself wearing a sleek frontal bob wig.

Posted on 31 December 2025, the image appeared to nod playfully to his past portrayal of Thokozani “Thoko” Chanel on the SABC1 sitcom Ses’Top La.

Alongside the photo, Masemola wished his followers well, writing: “The ‘ea’ in tea is silent. I thank you. All the best to everyone in your new year.”

As expected, the post quickly attracted thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.

While some followers praised the actor’s confidence and fearless fashion sense, others reacted with confusion and speculation, with a number of users openly questioning his sexuality based on the look.

One commenter wrote, “Happy New Year. You’re slowly exposing yourself,” while another asked bluntly, “T for trans?” A third added, “Something about this guy is not make sure!”
